This is an oud built on contrast. Saffron and cardamom open sharp and warm at the same time — the kind of top note that clears a stuffy cabin in the first few seconds after the engine starts. As it settles, rose softens the oud wood at the centre, keeping it from tipping into anything too heavy or incense-like. The base is where it earns its name: amber and sandalwood, slow-burning and resinous, the note that's still there when you park four hours later and it hasn't gone thin or synthetic on you.

It's formulated specifically for the Journey's waterless ultrasonic atomizer — no dilution, no residue, no water droplets on your dashboard. Every 25 mL bottle is sealed and drops straight into the diffuser's chamber through the included funnel, so there's no measuring and no oil on your fingers. On the default 0.2s burst setting — calibrated for sedans and hatchbacks — with around an hour of daily driving, one bottle lasts roughly 3–4 weeks. Switch to the 0.5s or 0.8s intensity for a mid-size or large SUV, and you'll get through it faster, usually in 1.5–2 weeks.

Because Journey wakes with your engine and sleeps when you park, Royal Oud only runs when you're actually in the car — no wasted fragrance, no drained battery from a diffuser running in an empty vehicle overnight.
